It is not necessary that cladding must be installed during construction. Because cladding wears out after some time, replacement becomes necessary. Replacement of the same can be undertaken as part of house improvement project. There are different types of cladding materials available in the market. Choice of the same depends on several factors including home owner preference, regular weather conditions, availability and cost amongst other factors.

• Wood cladding – This is perhaps the oldest type of cladding that has been and is still used right across the globe. Wooden cladding is in most cases constructed from cedar, pine and red wood. The benefit of installing wooden cladding lies in the fact that they can be painted in any color, which can be changed after. However, wooden cladding does not last for long as it is highly susceptible to weather elements.
• Plastic cladding – Mostly made of vinyl, plastic cladding is now the most popular type of cladding that most home owners go for. They not only last for long when compared to wooden cladding but it is also available in different colors. Installing plastic cladding has several disadvantages; it is heat sensitive and can enhance spread of fire in case of fire disaster, it is environmentally unfriendly and cannot be recycled.
• Asphalt cladding – Although not that popular, cladding made of asphalt is one of the most effective. It is basically impregnated panels that when installed create an appearance similar to stone. It is in most cases available as panels measuring 2’ by 4’.
• Metal cladding – This is perhaps the most popular cladding available. Mostly made of aluminum and galvanized steel, metal cladding is available in different styles and colors. Apart from homes, it is commonly installed in industrial buildings.
• Synthetic cladding – A recent development in the construction industry is the manufacture of synthetic cladding that are basically a combination of varied materials. Resins, stone, fiberglass and fly ash are now widely used in formulating cladding that has proved to be very resistant to weather elements and therefore long-lasting.

Although a home owner may choose a cladding made of a material of his/her preference, the choice should ideally be based on a material’s resistant to weather elements.

We took a plane from New York to Tanzania. The plane ride was long and boring. We hit a little turbulence and getting through TSA on the American side was difficult. I was tired and jet lagged, but I felt better once we touched down at the airport in Tanzania. The tour guides picked us up right from the airport with several other guests and were driven to our accommodations.

The accommodations were great! We stayed at the national parks the whole time during our trip. We even got to camp in real tents. It felt like we were roughing it, but we had so much fun out there. The other people on the tour with us were cool too. We made friends with two other couples, one from LA and the other from Texas.

We saw all kinds of animals on the safari. We did not see any lions on the first two days, but we did see flamingos, hippos, and giraffes. There were many different kinds of birds that we saw on the safari. Finally on the third day we saw a pride of lions. I was so happy that I was in tears. They seemed to regal out in the wild and so free like they ruled the grasslands.

All medical facilities have a need for medical supplies and equipment. Many doctors also prescribe their patients some sort of medical equipment at some point in their care. The medical equipment for both the facilities and the patients come from medical equipment suppliers who then deliver and set up the equipment or supplies for use. There is a process that you must go through in order to receive your medical supplies.

1. Get a prescription from the primary care doctor or specialist. Many medical supply companies must have a prescription on file before they will fill an order. The prescription is also needed to bill the insurance. A doctor will choose supplies that will serve you the best, as well as make sure you get the correct medical equipment.
2. Take the prescription to the medical equipment supplier. They will take it and order the equipment or supplies that you need. If any of the equipment needs to be specially sized or requires measurements, the medical supplier should be able to take the measurements to special order it.
3. Pay For the order. Most medical suppliers will bill the insurance company, but some will not. If they do not file insurance claims, you will have to pay cash and file a claim on your own. Also many insurance providers require copay depending on the supplies or equipment ordered and the medical need.
4. Pick up or have the equipment delivered. The equipment will then be ordered or given to you if it is in stock. Large or special made items may require a period of waiting if they are not in stock. The items would then be delivered either to you or to the store. Expect to have to drive by and pick up small equipment. The larger equipment can be delivered if offered by the supplier.

Heading to Tanzania in the months from June to November provides a great chance to see the cheetahs and the lions.  Since it rains a good amount of the month of April and May, the flowers will be blooming and abundant during these months of the year when going for a visit.    And most of the animals will be available for viewing pleasure on a safari during these months of the year in Tanzania!

Probably the least recommended time to visit Tanzania for a safari is during April and May.  April and May are the rainiest times of the year in this country and that means the animals don’t have to travel far to get their water to live on.  In addition since the water is so abundant, some of the wildlife parks are closed during these months of the year.

November to March is the prime time for a Tanzania safari, especially for bird lovers.  Tanzania has over 1,000 species of birds and bird watchers flock to the country during these months to catch sight of them.   And for people who would like to make a trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro, it’s the best time of year to visit.   

Everyday Threats to Gold Plating 

• Initial Thickness. If you ask for an extra-thick layer of plating when purchasing, you will have more to work with and can wait longer before taking the item to a jeweler for re-plating.
• Perspiration. Those living in warmer climates or prone to sweat should ask for thicker layers of gold plating when they take their items to the jeweler for maintenance. Avoid wearing your jewelry to the gym or out on your daily jog.
• Exposure to chemicals. This includes everything from household cleaners to lye to bug spray to hair spray. Take care to remove your rings or other jewelry before cleaning and place those items in a safe place (I think we have all seen too many sitcoms about a husband or wife losing their wedding ring down the bathroom sink).
• Physical Impact. Remove rings or bracelets before working with tools, gardening, automotive repair, or any other home maintenance. Even playing the piano or typing on computer’s keyboard can damage a ring’s gold plating.

DIY Home Care
Other than having your gold replated every few years, which needs to be done by a professional jeweler, everyday upkeep on gold-plated items is a breeze. Using warm, soapy water, clean your jewelry using a soft washcloth or sponge. Avoid using soap with grit as it can sully the finish, remove the gold plating, and even permanently damage your items. Only wash and dry your jewelry using soft cloths and never abrasive materials such as steel wool, which can also rub off the gold plating.
